One of the major tragedies of the human condition seems to be the fact that most of us are unable to leave their worldview aside and step into someone else’s shoes.
It's sort of being imprisoned in our worldview and being unable to try another perspective. It leads to some sort of isolation and circulus vitiosus, where worldview, character and destiny are intermeshed and indistinguishable.
If egoism is the cherry on the cake of someone's personality it becomes even more tragic: everything is perceived only in relation to oneself.
